This is a terrific compilation of Bananarama's greatest hits. Songs include ''I Heard a Rumour'', ''Cruel Summer'', ''Venus'', ''Love in the First Degree'', ''I Can't Help It'', ''I Want You Back'', ''Robert Deniro's Waiting'' and many more! Bananarama proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that they were serious singers/performers despite the bubblegum pop sound of their songs. They were the definitive girl group of the 1980's and Britain's most successful girl group of all time (the Spice Girls took that title in the mid-90's). Bananarama placed a handful of solid hits on the US charts and this album is proof of that. They were a staple of the 1980's music industry and culture. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
