Overview

The Greek-English Concordance to the New Testament is an exhaustive index to three Greek texts: UBS4, Nestle-Aland 26, and the Greek text underlying the New International Version of the Bible. It replaces the venerable Englishman’s Greek Concordance by George Wigram, published over 150 years ago. FEATURES:

• Shows the interrelationship between the English and Greek texts, including redundant cognates and repeated Greek words, as well as multiple-word translations
• Uses the Goodrick-Kohlenberger numbering system (with cross-reference to Strong’s numbers), allowing for accurate identification of Greek words and use with The Zondervan NIV Exhaustive Concordance
• Keyed to the Bauer-Arndt-Gingrich-Danker Greek Lexicon (BAGD) and The New International Dictionary of New Testament Theology (NIDNTT)

Meet the Author

John R. Kohlenberger III (MA, Western Seminary) is the author or coeditor of more than three dozen biblical reference books and study Bibles, including The Strongest Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible, NIV Interlinear Hebrew-English Old Testament, NRSV Concordance Unabridged, Greek-English Concordance to the New Testament, Hebrew-English Concordance to the Old Testament, and the award-winning NIV Exhaustive Concordance and Expositor's Bible Commentary: Abridged Edition. He has taught at Multnomah Bible College and Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon.

The late Edward W. Goodrick was on the faculty at Multnomah Bible College for many years and coedited with John Kohlenberger various biblical language study tools, including the Zondervan NIV Exhaustive Concordance.

James A. Swanson (ThM, University of South Africa) a specialist in applying database management to biblical studies, has taught at Multnomah Bible College. He is co-editor with John R. Kohlenberger III on several Old and New Testament language concordances, and author of the Dictionary of Biblical Languages with Semantic Domains: Hebrew and Aramaic.
