    Sea Storytelling At Its Best

    Farley Mowat is unmatchable at the task of sea storytelling. This tale will give you a new respect the next time you see a seagoing tug. The story unfolds around a famous salvage tugboat named Foundation Franklin, with a personality as finely defined as a human¿s might be. The boat and the men who manned her shared strength, tenacity and courage as they rescued ships in peril on the vast frozenness of the North Atlantic. Mowat¿s descriptions of the bleak winter ocean will cause your fingertips to numb as you turn the pages of this great read. The salvage tug served from 1930 to 1948, saving ships and lives. The author will almost have you reaching for the Dramamine as he writes of the seas building from vicious gales. Snug up your collar and give this book a launching.
