    Not what I expected

    I was hoping for more of a gunsmith type of book giving repairs and practical improvements to the weapon. Good overview though

    Practical and informative 1911 handbook

    The 1911 is the BEST handgun ever made and this book does this historic and still vital gun justice. A comprehensive presesntaion of the 1911's history and description of tests of the best examples of present makers of this important handgun is expertly brought to life by Patrick Sweeney, a well known and informative gun author. Whether one is a first time gun owner or a long time enthusiast, this book is simply on target and a must have for any 1911 owner.

    He loves it.

    My fiance is really interested in guns and was trying to decide which one to get. This book really helped him decide on a new gun and gave him very important information.
