Almost a Bible for the Glock Community.

Glock owners tend to be a close knit and quite loyal group of firearms owners whose thirst for up to date information seems to never end. This particular publication addresses almost everything one needs to know about this line of pistols as of publication date. It is well written and the author has a good grasp of the subject matter and does not loose sight of the objective. While there seems to be an inherent bias towards Glock's the author freely reminds the reader of the "tilt" and comes across as knowledgeable and trustworthy. He has written several other books for the firearms community and I will assume the same treatment is extended to those audiences. This is somewhat unusual among the industry's media fraternity in that most publications especially the consumer magazines are rarely critical of any pistol manufacturer's product. Mr. Sweeney's book is an easy read and provides one with mostly interesting information. I would not hesitate to recommend this book be studied before making a decision on what pistol to purchase. It actually helps focus on the real aspects of "why a glock" without insulting or degrading other manufacturers products. With rumors flying about "Generation Four" Mr. Sweeney seems to have a built in annuity in this product line of books.
