    Evil, thy name is....

David Dalglish. If you're a fan of fluffy fantasy with rainbows and unicorns then this is not the series for you. While it does have it's lighter moments and a quite a bit of humor it is, for the most part, a very dark and, at some times, disturbing series. There will be sections that are hard to get through due to the events that are taking place but, speaking as one who has finished all five books, well worth the journey. I highly, highly recommend this series to anyone who gets involved in the books they read. I don't use the term "page turner" very often but that's exactly what this series is. I had to keep reading to find out what happened next. Read Dance of Cloaks first but once you're done with that start this series. More than worth the time and emotional effort.

    Disturbing but compelling

The hero's in this story are so evil that I have been tempted to put this book down on several occasions, but just can't do it.
