Jane Bierce is a glowing talent in the romance field! Few stories have a handicapped heroine who shows the world that "handicapped" DOES NOT mean "useless"! A story that deserves a standing ovation!

This was something that could happen to anyone. Great characters. Appreciated the disabled heroine.

This story realistically portrays a romance with a handicapped heroine. The challenges Marti faces are facts of life, but Burke sees past the cane and falls in love with the real Marti. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and I hope half-brother Carl gets his own story.
