Overview

I had just exited the Diner when my cell rang, it was my Captain. He said that Chief Harris wanted to see me in his office. I told him I was just across the street and would be right over. Just as I was about to cross the street I thought I heard my name called so I turned around to see who it was. Nobody was there, all I could see was my reflection in the Diners plate glass window. Except… it wasn’t my reflection I was seeing, it was Dillon’s. I looked to the left and right of me but nobody else was there, just me and Dillon’s reflection. I stood there for a minute; I know I am awake so this isn’t a dream. Now, I’m not one to believe in ghosts, but then again, I’m not one to not believe in ghosts. “I am going to get to the bottom of this” I said to myself. Then I turned to go to the Chief’s office. Just before I crossed the street I looked back at the window. Dillon’s reflection was still there standing like I had never turned away. I said out loud, “Dillon, I don’t know what you want, but I’m going to find out.” As soon as I said that the sun went behind a cloud and Dillon’s reflection was gone.
