About the Author

Burnaby Hawkes is a former analyst for the NATO Council of Canada, a novelist, and a physician. His stories have appeared in Heater, The Raven Chronicles, and other magazines. In addition to his medical degree, he read English and philosophy at the University of Toronto and holds a master’s degree in global affairs and international security. He is a contributor to multiple international organizations and think tanks.
