The Healing Music Project

Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide - Johnny Loftus
This series from Relaxation Company a division of Ellipsis Arts might seem suspect at first. With its flowery talk about "sound healers" and "brainwave entertainment." But this isn't just a fancy way to sell yuppies back massagers. The Healing Music Project seems to truly believe in its mission, and includes an array of new age, worldbeat, and ambient-inspired recordings to help get you to a soothing place. Highlights include the tonal synth linger of new age vet Steven Halpern's "Oneness"; "Ka Tan," a subdued piece featuring the African rhythms of Yaya Diallo; and Amitava Chatterjee's hypnotizing sitar drone on "Raga Bhairavi."
