There is life after the death of a spouse or life partner.

Through the effective use of a she said/he said format, Lintermans and Stolzman provide anecdotal evidence that there is life after the death of a spouse or life partner. They investigate the connection and rebirth of twelve couples, each of whom had gone through the loss of a spouse or life partner, and show how each person found their way back to life and healing through the power of new love.

Uplifting & hopeful after loss of a spouse

I found the stories of the couples instructive & informative. The loss of a spouse is a powerful event in the life of the bereaved. In the begining of the grief process most bereaved have no idea which way life might proceed. This book gives hope to those who have suffered loss.

    'Believe It Or Not'

I bought Lintermans book merely to validate my own thoughts and principles. Much to my surprise her research, personal interviews and creativity not only validated my feelings about 'dating' after my loss but expanded my views on the whole proposition of building a new, and I might add, exciting relationship. So to my friends and family I now say 'believe it or not' I have a new and loving person in my life and it's O.K.!

I too can be on my way

After reading The Healing Power of Grief by the same authors I was hopeful that this book would help me through the process of going forward with a new and meaningful relationship. And yes, I too will find an enriching life as I came to understand while turning the pages of this 'healing' book. Thank you, once again, to the authors.
