“The Heart Disease Cure” is a book as useful as it is diverse. It’s not just a cookbook. It’s chalked full of information about heart disease’s causes, symptoms, medicinal treatments, and more.  These sections really helped me understand how essential it was to have a healthy diet, which made the recipes that much more useful. Plus, they are tasty. Highly recommend this cookbook.

I bought this book when it first came out on a healthy whim. Boy, am I glad I bought it! This book not only has some delicious recipes but it also is an extremely useful tool to help you learn about what your circulatory system really needs. Fast food is so unhealthy, not even to mention the fact that buying locally and organically are cleaner and healthier; but this book also helps you understand why you want to buy like this and what you would want to buy to help you live longer and better lives! To the author: Thank you so much for your insight!

Fantastic combination of meals AND snacks in this book! I’ve tried and failed sticking to other diet plan books in my search of healthy recipes that are enjoyable to eat. With this book I’m actually excited about trying the rest of the recipes because I’ve enjoyed the ones I’ve made so much. Granted, some might require a little salt but thats easy to manage and not necessary for most of them.

It’s no secret that there are benefits that a positive attitude will have on our hearts but, as this book absolutely proves beyond a shadow of a doubt: there is so much MORE that we can do to improve our heart’s health. It has really simplified and broken down a formerly complicated subject to a format that even I can understand! It gives a month long meal plan of incredible (and unbelievably) delicious recipes. I am motivated, even eager, to get started!

This book is well-written and engaging.  It is informative, practical and is an excellent source of information for the heart health novice, anyone who has heart disease, wants to prevent it, or those who simply want to maintain a healthy heart.   The book begins by introducing the current dismal state of heart health in America, detailing baffling statistics.  It then goes on to explain the causes of heart disease and then offers clear, step-by-step solutions explaining what we can do to maintain a healthy heart, and even reverse the risk of heart disease.  The food we eat is identified in the book as a major role player in affecting heart health, which leads to the best part of the book…the mouth-watering recipes!  This book is a must-have and well worth the read.

Heart disease is particularly likely to affect women. Trends already existing in your body toward hardening of the arteries depend on eating habits and should be reversed. A habit can be changed gradually. Once done, the body’s trend toward heart disease levels off. “Heart” straightforwardly lays out both problem and solution receive straightforward treatment in “Heart.” Exercise is not enough. Through food habits, the heart-healthy person imports essentials such as unsaturated fats and suppressed levels of harmful saturated fats. Attractive recipes include tomato-mushroom breakfast burrito, featuring plenty of eggs – with yolks removed.
