About the Author

Dr. Eric M. Wallace earned his doctorate in Biblical studies from Union Theological Seminary in Richmond, Virginia. He specialized in the New Testament, particularly Johannine studies. He has also taught at Elmhurst College and North Park University in Chicago.

This monograph is derived from a paper initially written as part of the author’s doctoral studies at Union Theological Seminary, now Union Presbyterian Seminary. He is also the president and co-founder of the Freedoms Journal Institute, which he established with his wife, Jennifer.
