Luved this book

I loved this book but all thru it i wanted to kill emely she is such a b with an itch i hated how she acted accept of supporting ara she put her down. Eric was an awesome character he had this dark side and a sweet side and hilarious hes like a friend that u always seem to like but all u want is friendship. Mike was instresting he wanted to share ara with david? Kind of weird even when he had emely he had feelings and thoughts for ara so something told me if Ara ever has a bad day and shes vonruadel he will take the chance of kissing Ara. David was as caring as always and he always was there at bad times and i hate how he's connected to Emely i just well i hate Emely. David is so sweet and romantic and cute that of course every girl would fall for him espeacilly one that he hunts with. I really love this book and if ur looking for a unique vmipre world book you should pick this one but this book is addicting. I love the plot and the twist and turns and im sure you'll love this series alot. But this book is 13 and up or mature 10-12 year olds. Love this book. I Extremly suggest it for vampire lovers.

Was looking for something to read....

This was unexpected! I read the Twilight series and I didn't like it. But THIS series, I finished the first three books in two days. Love it that there's more to Ara than Bella. She actually leaves her bedroom!! Great job, Ms. Hudson! Time to return to reality now. :( Dishes, here I come!

GREAT BOOK!!!! 15+ This book is not for 13 year olds! NOT FOR 13 year olds. This book was great, SO, SO GREAT, but people left spoilers on reviews on Amazon and on books 1 & 2 so I knew a few things that happened. Didn't change how great it was but, people, please leave in CAPS: SPOILER ALERT in future. L.O.V.E this book. Best so far.

Hudson does not disappoint!!

Loved this book--each book in the series besting the last! My favorite series right now.

So much is starting to be revealed in this book; I found it fun to go back and re-read the prior books, see the foreshadowing (that I completely missed before) and try to piece the rest of the puzzle together that will be revealed by the end of the series. Originally, I thought the first book was a little bland, with no specific climax. But now, I see all of the intricate setup that was going om in the first book.

A definite read, I highly recommend this series. A.M. Hudson is one of my favorite authors right now and the vampire world she has developed is richly developed.

I can't wait for the 4th book, due out late Oct.

Omg this series is amazing

Okay so Ara got on my nerves a little with her trusting everyone lol, but I guess that's because she has a good heart. I never really cared for Emily but this book made me hate her. I don't know maybe because I believe in loyalty, but Ara forgave her not gonna say for what though don't want to spoil it. Emily got me even more made at her for the fact that she keep getting mad at Ara. Like Ara had no right to feel the way she felt. The whole time reading the book I knew that was gonna happen with what I believe was betrayal on Em's part to Ara. We meet a new character in this book name Eric I love him he was hilarious I hope to see more of him in the future. I love David & Mike even though they did a few dumb things in here too. Overall this book was amazing I cried while reading each of the first three books in this series. I don't know why but each character even the ones I hate does something to my emotions. A.M. Hudson really does a good job at making her readers feel the pain & joy of her characters in a way that pulls at your heart, & I am in no way shape or form a softy but I always cry reading her books. I recommend this book to anyone the sex is not explicit at all though the violence might be considered to some. But most certainly not the sex they barely go in to details on the sex lol I guess because its a book for teens.

Horrible!! Don't waste your time

I read to page 700 and decided this book wasn't going to get any better. I didn't find the characters to be likable. She is a sex hungry teen who has no idea what love is. I was really disappointed to find how easily she went from one guy to the next in less then 2 hours. I have dleted the whole series from my nook and I don't even care that I didn't finish the third book.

pretty good book

Enjoyed the book. This was the first time I had read this series. I will be going back and reading the first 2, in order to catch up on what happened before this book. Even though I hadn't read the other books, I was able to understand what was going on and it did have me teary eyed at times. I would recommend this book to others.

WOW TALK ABOUT INTENSE! I couldn't believe she did that to Mike

WOW TALK ABOUT INTENSE! I couldn't believe she did that to Mike, but I
was glad she was so true to David and that she really loved him. I love
Mike as much as I love David and I can see why Ara has so much trouble
with her feelings for each. I really like Eric hes very unique and has
a funny sense of humor. What can you say about Jason ,,,,I felt sorry
for him and could see where he was coming from, although I couldn'tn
believe he did all those things to Ara. Can't wait to read the next book.

This series is by far the best! All of the books have you wanting more, you just cant seem to get enough! I stumbled upon the series and I am so glad I did, because I just love Ara and David, although Ara pisses me off how she is into every guy but its not her fault. I have cried so much reading this series so you might want to read it at home instead of at work like I did! :) Can't wait for the next book!

Although I wanted someone to kill Ara about halfway through the book, it comes together and makes more sense later in the book. I loved the series and would recommend to anyone. Cant wait till book 4!

Okay... *spoiler btw*

So im about 755 pages into the book and i just need to get something off of my chest. Ara is the most annoying person ever. It seems like she falls in love with almost every boy she meets. She also wants to bakg every hot guy in the ten mile radius (sometimes even from across the world) an its really annoying. People are saying that its better than twilight but in reality i like the human character of bella waaaay more than i like ara. Bella at least only wanted to ever bang edward and not jacob. And bella did not fl in love with more than two guys...unlike ara. Ara i in love with david mike davids brother justin amd maybe even eric. No cross that she doesnt love eric but she does want to bang him. And mike. An david. And probably the mailman if he was twenty with dark wavy hair a charming smile and abs. Shes a tramp...a whore...a coquette. It really annoys me to bits how she can kiss and almost bang mike when david is home waiting or her. She is like a guy...all she wants is sexsexsexsexsex. An its annoying. I wuldnt be surprised if she found some random guy on the street n did it with him. And the fact that she fell in love with jason is just vile although i sort of like him. Thats the problem...i like all the guys (even eric....which is sorta wierd because well...its ERIC) which makes me hate ara for being stupid and breaking all their hearts. God...now im just pissed.

Are Australian's truly this naive?

This is not a book for young teens. This is a dark disturbing book that includes graphic torture. Ara is a young, naive 19 yr. old. She loves everyone and hates no one. Even when she is mentally manipulated, kidnapped, brutally beaten, sadistically tortured and forced to kill.

Ara is to become queen of your people and yet she has no backbone. Allowing everyone to tell her what to think and what to do. She allows people close to her to keep secrets from her when knowing the truth is crucial to be a strong queen. This series could be so much better if Ara was a stronger character.
