More About This Product

Overview

This application is recommended for ages 6+.

The strange feeling you had all day followed you to bed that night.

A sudden crash from the next room wakes you from dreams of magical lands, and sets your heart racing in your chest.

Sitting bolt upright in bed, the strange feeling returns as your eyes adjust to the darkness, focusing on the odd wooden symbols across the mantel of the fireplace. Almost as if something were calling you...

Turning on the lamp, you cautiously get up, moving towards the sound that woke you. This is your uncle's house and though you've been here many times, it suddenly feels very different.

The room is littered with wonderfully strange and interesting artifacts, souvenirs from your uncle's travels, from where he would not say. On the floor lays a small tiled box, broken open. Unfolding the paper nestled within it, you instantly recognize the symbols.

The fireplace!

Running back into the bedroom, you examine again the symbols on the paper. They match perfectly those in the woodwork of the mantel, but are arranged differently...

Though your hands are shaking with excitement, you work quickly, rearranging the wooden symbols to match the ones on the paper, hearing them click into place easily one after the other, until the pattern is complete.

Suddenly, beams of golden sunlight burst through the opening in the fireplace, cutting through the darkness in the room. Standing back with a gasp, you look through the opening, eyes wide in awe at the beautiful, magical land from your dream on the other side.

With a deep breath, you step through the opening and take your first steps into another world...

Features:
Beautiful hand-painted graphics that draw you into this mesmerizing adventure!
Lots of items to collect and puzzles to solve!
Original soundtrack and sound effects!
A journal that keeps track of all the symbols and clues that you encounter.
A dynamic map that shows all of the areas you have explored, as well as your current location.
A complete hint system built right into the game.
The Hidden World has been translated into many languages.

So fabulous, that I'm playing this AGAIN on my Nook HD! Fire Map

So fabulous, that I'm playing this AGAIN on my Nook HD!
Fire Maple Games has always put out amazing games and products - this one is bar none, the best of
their entire series - the graphics, and scenery are warm and inviting - you feel as though you are
embarking on a mystical adventure filled with fantasy, puzzles, and more - the environments are
nothing short of breathtaking, and really immerse you into the world of Mosaika.

The puzzles are much more challenging this time around, and really make you think of your next step -
the nice thing about this game is that you have a magnifying glass hint button, so anytime you are
stuck, just tap the magnifier, and it tells you the next step - if there is a puzzle involved, you even
have the choice of revealing the solution, or waiting to see if you can solve it yourself.
That's a really nice touch to this game so that both rookies and hardcores to the series can enjoy
    this game.
I  completed the game last week, and loved the entire experience from beginning to end!
Especially love the addition of animal characters in-game, and the evil Sorceress is a lovely
addition as well! This game will blow you away with it's intricate puzzles, detailed animations,
and breathtaking scenery! I'm going to play this one again on the Nook HD because I loved the experience so much!!

    Excellent Game

This is such a good example of what games for the Nook should be. Excellent graphics and just the tight amount of difficulty to make it challenging and interesting. If you do get stuck the addition of hints and solutions is nice if you want to resort to them. And all for a buck! I've paid much more for mindless games that are boring and "cartoonish"------like so many of the Nook games are. Fire Maple Games are the best games by far. Do not hesitate to buy this game.

    Love it

I get so excited when I see there is a new Fire Maple game. I love these puzzles. You can do them at your own speed and there are hints if you get stuck. Wish there were new ones more often. Beautiful scenes and nice, peaceful music. Keep them coming Fire Maple.

    Having a problem installing?

Give the app time to load and install. Mine took longer than normal, but it is a conplex and long game. So long is really fast if you ask me. If it says it wont load, then you probebly have to much storage on your nook.

Please push yes for helpful! :) :D

    The best from the best

The games from Fire Maple are way, way beyond any other Nook game offerings. Mosaika is the best yet. The only downside? Now that I'm done, there's nothing else even close for me to play while waiting for their next.

What makes them so much better? The puzzles are part of a visually engaging, mysterious fantasy adventure.

    The best AND most beautiful!

I have been a Fire Maple games fan since the Secret of grisly Manor! Mosaika was the perfect mix of thoughtfulness and challenge! I love the use of characters in this one. Without a doubt is the most visually stunning adventure game I have ever played!!! Well done Fire Maple.

    Mosaika

I am thrilled with this ! I was very pleased with all the hints, they made solving this mystery alot of fun.
When i first played it, I didn't follow the hints , i struck out on my own so to speak and that got me stuck on a hint that i couldn't get out of , so thank s to Joe from the support page, I restarted the game and followed the guides to the letter and was able to finish ! I love these kind of games please make more like this for Nook Color , I like these so much more than just Hidden Object games . Klp
    P.S. IF I could give it a ten I would :)

    Great thinking game

Easier and shorter than the lost city, but still a great game. If you enjoy searching for clues and solving puzzles you'll like this. Keep up the good work fire maples, will be waiting for the next one to come out

    Nice

Love all the Fire Maple games. I think Lost City is my favorite. I feel like this one should be longer, I went through this one pretty fast. Maybe I'm just getting better at these? I really liked the puzzles in this one, just challenging enough. I felt the ending could have been a little stronger and more to it, but overall it was pretty great!

    Fire Maple does it again!

I have been impressed with games from Fire Maple since I played Grizzly Manor. They are exactly what quest & puzzle games should be. And I have yet to find any other for the nook that come close. There are some decent ones, but most are heavy on the hidden objects and dissapoint with puzzles & story lines. Fire Maple also seems to listen to players complaints & suggestions as each game gets better. The map & hints seemed more organized than in Lost city. I loved that this game had more of a plot, gave you interaction with other characters (in this case some helpful animals) yet still kept that air of loneliness and mystery that helps make their games even more special. Also, unlike Grizzly Manor & Lost city, this game has a villian and a much more satisfying ending. Ending is still a tad anticlimatic, but no where near so as the first 2 games. The only reason why I am giving it 4 stars is that it seemed shorter than Lost city. I haven't actually gone back & counted the number of screens, but I finished it within a few hours and only used a small amount of hints & one puzzle hint. This game also seemed to be easier to figure out as far as steps to take and objects to use. The puzzles seemed easier to me as well because they were somewhat similar to past puzzles in the other games, or at least the way to interpret clues where similar. I was much more challenged by Lost City. Perhaps that is why it felt short. This is also very appropriate for kids, yet fun and somewhat challenging for adults as well. My 9 year old is going to play next so we will see how she fares. She needed a lot of help with Lost city but kept at it and had a blast. All in all I adore this developer. I wish Fire Maple released more, but the fact that it takes time may mean that they are interested in quality and not just bragging that they crank out a new crappy game every week to roll in profits. G5 does this, charges $3-$5 a game, and I have yet to find one they make as good as the Fire Maple games. So try it out. I can't imagine you'll be dissapointed!

    Eye popping adventure!!

This game is so relaxing. I found myself manytimes just looking around at all the places in Mosaika. There were more than a few times were I scratched my head to figure out my next move. These devrlopers are very good and I will be getting their other games!
