Lady In A Box ~ Page 32

Ian has been left Laird of Clan MacDuff after his brother Donell travels through time to be with his true love. The clan embraces him as their leader, and now to secure his own position, Ian decides he must take a wife. After imbibing on one two many gulps of ale, Ian toys with his brother’s brooch, the very catalyst to his present situation. When the air turns thick with fog, Ian panics that he’s traveled through time, but is comforted by the familiar surroundings of his bedroom. And what’s this? A beautiful naked woman is lying next to him…

Natalie Blackwood, a Scottish historian, wakes up in her own naughty fantasy: making love to a medieval Highlander who strums her body like a fine-tuned instrument. Even better, she’s in a medieval keep set up by--she thinks--her best friend.

When it all becomes a reality, Natalie has some tough decisions to make. Can she stay in Ian's world? Beyond earth-shattering bliss, can Ian convince her they were made for each other?

Love In A Box ~ Page 58

Colin MacDuff has grown up learning the ways of Highland warriors from his father Donell--but he's never believed his parent's faniciful stories of time travel, true love and a brooch known as the Highland Jewel. Until…he lands on his butt, literally, in the year 1648. Before him is the most beautiful, not to mention sexy as hell, woman he's ever seen. The only thing is, she refuses to be his, or to believe in the power of the brooch.

Sera wishes she'd been able to escape the Highlands like her sister did, and vows she won't marry for anything less than love, and refuses to be a pawn in a marriage deal. Until…Colin shows her what she's missing. He takes her body to the heights of heaven and back, all while proving to her that true love is possible.

Now everything and everyone, depends on the future of these two lovers. Will Colin stay in the past to save the future, and will Sera succumb to passion and love?

Editorial Reviews

Diva Jade
"Oh, I love a man in a kilt. This is a hot quick read, with lots of scorching sex. The historical accuracies are a nice touch, like Ian’s accent, but don’t take away from the story. Which is nice."

"Eliza Knight’s WARRIOR IN A BOX is the first story in her HIGHLAND JEWELS series. This is a fun whimsical tale and if you’ve ever fantasized about a Scottish warrior of your own then you’re in for a treat. Donell’s very sweet and charming and I got a real kick out of his reaction to modern conveniences – especially having his ‘man goods’ squished into a pair of jeans. Lainie’s a modern gal and loves her career but she’s also very

    I Also Recommend:

    Not bad

I knew this book was three short stories rolled into one, and that's exactly what it is. The stories are short and quick, not much character development or progression with the plot, but the love scenes are very very descriptive. If you're looking for a book with hot sex scenes but not much story, this is the book for you. I usually prefer my Highlander books to have some sort of plot, but for a short, quick, hot read, this book works.

    If you like porn-

I got this book because it was recommended after I read a different one. The first book had a little lovin' in it...this book was pretty much 90% porn. So, if you're into that kind of thing, it is right up your ally. I appreciate that she had some kind of plot to it, but it could have been so much more, the plot was actually interesting...but was cut way short to make room for sex and more sex.

    Don't recommend it.

Not really a story. It was more about how much sex they could fit in. Too graphic for my taste. If I want to read smut, I'll buy smut. When I want to read a time travel romance that's what I expect.
