I adored this short story that takes place with the magic of time! I really loved reading The Highlander’s Haunted Kiss written by the very descriptive writer, Joanne Rock! This book is the first one in the Secrets of the Darroch Clan series. It’s the fantastic journey of Iain Darroch , who is cursed to wander the Highlands for all time, along with his brothers Magnus and Alexander! As soon as I started to read it, I got pulled into the story that kept me captivated until the end. I was a little sad that it ended so soon, would have wanted more, it was so much fun to read! The story begins as Lillian DeSalles, who is a headstrong and stubborn American young lady, is claiming Iain’s fortress, without knowing that it still belongs to Iain, Lord of Invergale. Since, she is trespassing on his grounds, how will he react to this beautiful intruder? He was responsible to watch over his lands and not her! Was she a fae? Could she be his true mate haunting him? Was she dreaming when she saw this gorgeous highlander? You have to read this fantastic adventure set in the Highlands! I highly recommend it, if you love a romantic Scottish novella set in a magical world. You will love it and won’t be disappointed! I love Joanne Rock style of writing and I’m looking forward to read The Highlander’s Dark Seduction, Magnus’s story!
