Overview

Their greatest opponent won’t be battled with a sword…
But with their hearts…

Ronan Sutherland is a fierce warrior. Swearing off all else, he thrives on his powerful position within William Wallace’s army. Freedom for the Scots is his mission—until he meets fair Julianna. She captivates him, intoxicates him…makes him want more out of life than what harsh dangers he’s accustomed to.

Lady Julianna is no meek maiden. She’s trained in the art of war, sister to one of Scotland’s most powerful men, and tasked with keeping the future king safe. Until she’s kidnapped by a rivaling clan. Now her only hope is for the one man she trusts—and desires—to save her.

Together, they’ll have to face down one of Scotland’s most treacherous foes… And keep from falling victim to the one thing they’ve both eluded thus far—love.

This is the fourth book in the Stolen Bride series...

Very thrilling read! Eliza Knight’s talent is wonderful. Really like how she delivers the story with action, suspense and a touch of humor. Lady Juliana is sister to a powerful person and is also guardian and protector to the would-be future king. Ronan Southerland has a powerful position to William Wallace and brother to Lady Lorna and Lady Heather. Ronan is fighting to free Scotland from English rule. Lady Juliana gets abducted by cruel and rivaling clan and there is lots of action, humor and romance. Will Ronan Southerland rescue Juliana? Have to read to find out.

LOVE THIS WRITER!  This is the 2nd book of the series I read, the first being Highlander's Reward.  I did like book one somewhat better.  This story is more of an emotional ride, than Warrior's doing battle, or alot of conflict.  Don't get me wrong it has some fight scenes, but I consider it more on the Romance side, which is still good.  There is hot passionate sex, as in book one, but this somehow felt hotter and more of a connection to the h/H.  There is HEA, but I wish there was an Epilogue, but I guess that is why there is another book in the series.  There isn't a cliffhanger - yea - and we get HEA too.  Some of the character's from Highlander's Reward appear here, which is wonderful.  I won't go into the premise of the story as the author took care of it, but I would recommend this book and the rest of the series.  (ljb)

This was an okay book. It is not a strong story and the characters are weak. Sorry MS. Knight.
