Anna's mother has opened a transport café, but why do the trucks drivers avoid stopping there? An accident in the road outside brings Anna a new friend, Matthew. When they get trapped in a broken down truck with Matthew's dog, Chip, their adventure begins.
What was happening now? The engine was starting with enough noise to wake everyone up. Then, all of a sudden, the truck jerked forward. Anna fell on top of Matthew.
"I'm really frightened," she said, and she meant it.
Matthew stayed sitting on the floor. "What do you think's happening, Anna?"
"I know what's happening," she said, in a quiet voice. "This truck is being hijacked. We're going out onto the road now."
Matthew stayed silent as they felt the truck turn right, and the wheels began to run much more smoothly. The truck changed up a gear and increased speed.
"You're right," he agreed. "The truck is being hijacked. And so are we!"
