I've looked at other eBibles and this is the best I've found. I've heard of other eBibles locking up Nooks or loading slowly, but I've had no trouble. The best thing about this Bible is the easy navigation. I can go right to the book and chapter I'm looking for in just a few maneuvers. The book loads and I scroll through the books until I find the one I'm after. Then there are options to click on a certain chapter at the beginning of each book. The only downfall is I'm not used to this particular translation (I like my NIV) but its worth it.

I didn't buy this book after reviewing the "sample" sent me because it has navigation problems. I want to be able to search for a specific verse, or a word, just like I can do with free bibles on my iphone. Without it, it is not that attractive. It wouldn't be that hard for B&N to fix this problem.

This is a good American Standard Version -- I see people complaining that it's slow; this is because the Bible is a HUGE book and takes up lots space. ALL of the books load the same through the Nook processor. If it's slow or lock-ups your Nook its because of your Nook, not the book.

This is great if you just want to read the Bible. As a reference book for sitting in Church you can't search for the book, chapter, and verse very quickly.

I've downloaded lots of sample books. They don't give you the entire book - it's just a sampling so you can determine if you like it enough to buy the whole book. With the Bible, If you read Genesis alone, that should be more than enough to determine if it's the right version for you. I went with the ESV Bible and I really like it.

This version is a fine bible but it is not very quick or easy to navigate to a verse you want to find.

Hope there are no other books missing or duplicates of different books rather than the book they are supposed to be!
