Overview

An interactive guide to home decorating, The Home Color Selector shows you how to take the guesswork out of choosing and using color. This informative book begins by looking at color theory, and how to use color in the home, followed by an explanation of how color can be used to enhance mood.

The core of the book includes a comprehensive directory of color swatch combinations, so you can see at a glance which colors work together, and the effects combining colors will produce. The combinations are divided into moods such as elegant, sensual, tranquil, invigorating and fresh.

More than one million color combinations allow you to find the perfect color scheme for any room in the house. Moods are keyed into the interactive wheel on the cover, so you can tell in an instant how your choices will look. Finally, a full-color index allows the reader to match color swatches to Benjamin Moore color charts.

Decorator tool for the uncertain or stuck.

Much easier than dragging color cards home from the paint store. The first book I have reviewed with this variety of colors blended for use..
