I enjoy the personal accounts of WWII service men and their participation in the war. What I thought this book lacked was combat experience. The book covers most the of the author's experience going through training, and time off stateside. I thought that some more interesting reading would be, 'Flights of Passage' by Samuel Lynn Hynes, or 'Dauntless Helldivers' by Harold Buell. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
