It appears the "author" has taken The Hound of the Baskervilles, run it through a search and replace to change the characters to women, and republished it. Unfortunately, the search and replace didn't work very well so there are tell-tale signs of previous gender. It's awful. Just awful. Don't waste your time, even if it's free.

Took me forever to read this as I kept going back over what I read to she if the author was talking about a male for a female

It seems like the author did a "find & replace" in word processing for all the "he" and "him" words without addressing the gender context around them. Very poorly done. I totally agree with the reviewer that said it seemed like no one proofread this book.
