Overview

5 book set from NY Times Bestseller! Save $14!

Fire Burn and Cauldron Bubble:

A self-deprecating witch with the unique ability to reanimate the dead.
A dangerously handsome warlock torn between being her boss and her would-be lover.
A six hundred year old English vampire with his own agenda; one that includes an appetite for witches.
The Underworld in a state of chaos.
Let the games begin.

Life isn’t bad for psychic Jolie Wilkins. True, she doesn’t have a love life to speak of, but she has a cute house in the suburbs of Los Angeles, a cat and a quirky best friend.

Enter Rand Balfour, a sinfully attractive warlock who insists she’s a witch and who just might turn her life upside down. Rand hires her to help him solve a mystery regarding the death of his client who also happens to be a ghost. Jolie not only uncovers the cause of the ghost’s demise but, in the process, she brings him back to life!

Word of Jolie’s incredible ability to bring back the dead spreads like wildfire, putting her at the top of the Underworld’s most wanted list. Consequently, she finds herself at the center of a custody battle between a villainous witch, a dangerous but oh-so-sexy vampire, and her warlock boss, Rand.

Toil and Trouble:

The Underworld in civil war.
The cause? A witch who can reanimate the dead.
A sexy as sin vampire determined to claim her.
An infuriatingly handsome warlock torn between duty and love.
Who says blonds have more fun?

After defending herself against fairy magic, Jolie Wilkins wakes to find her world turned upside down—the creatures of the Underworld on the precipice of war.

The Underworld is polarized in a battle of witch against witch, creature against creature, led by the villainous Bella, who would be Queen.

While Jolie has one goal in mind, to stake the vampire, Ryder, who nearly killed her, she also must choose between the affections of her warlock employer, Rand, and the mysteriously sexy vampire, Sinjin.

And as if that weren’t enough to ruin a girl’s day, everything Jolie knows will be turned inside out when she’s thrust into the shock of a lifetime.

To Kill A Warlock:

The murder of a dark arts warlock.
A shape-shifting, ravenous creature on the loose.
A devilishly handsome stranger sent to investigate.
Sometimes working law enforcement for the Netherworld is a real bitch.

Dulcie O’Neil is a fairy. And not the type to frolic in gardens. She’s a Regulator—a law-enforcement agent who monitors the creatures of the Netherworld to keep them from wreaking havoc in the mortal world.

When a warlock is murdered and Dulcie was the last person to see him alive, she must uncover the truth before she’s either deported back to the Netherworld, or she becomes the next victim.

Enter Knight Vander, a sinfully attractive investigator sent from the Netherworld to work the case with Dulcie.

Between battling her attraction to her self-appointed partner, keeping a sadomasochistic demon in check, and fending off the advances of a sexy and powerful vampire, Dulcie’s got her hands full.

As the body count increases, Dulcie finds herself battling dark magic, reconnoitering in S&M clubs and suffering the greatest of all betrayals.

A Tale of Two Goblins:

A Dreamstalker— a creature that stalks and kills its victims in sleep.
A fairy in law enforcement determined to stop him.
A potions smuggler who possesses something she wants.
A vampire with his own agenda.
And a partner who couldn’t possibly be sexier or more frustrating.

Dulcie O’Neil is a fairy working in law enforcement for the Netherworld.

When Knight Vander approaches her with a case regarding comatose victims, she agrees to help him, imagining the most difficult part will be combatting her attraction to him.

But, what Dulcie isn’t betting on is the fact that the case becomes personal when she learns all the victims are somehow linked to her.

When her best friend falls victim to the Dreamstalker, Dulcie must do everything in her power to ensure her friend’s survival, including associating with criminals and accepting the fact that desperate times do definitely call for desperate measures.

Great Hexpectations:

A misunderstanding turned deadly.
A fairy in law enforcement who won't stop until the truth is uncovered.
A vampire who seems to be her ally but appearances can be deceiving.
And a partner who would put his own life on the line to defend hers.

Dulcie O'Neil knows she's at fault for failing to arrest a wanted criminal but when her partner gets pinned for the the crime, she'll stop at nothing to ensure his innocence

Meet the Author

I started my writing career as a self-published author and was lucky enough to hit both the Amazon and the Barnes and Noble bestseller’s lists with my two series, the Jolie Wilkins series and the Dulcie O’Neil series. Most recently I hit the New York Times and USA Today bestseller lists with my Jolie Wilkins books!

I signed with Random House (Bantam imprint) to write three books in the Jolie Wilkins series (Witchful Thinking, The Witch is Back and Something Witchy This Way Comes). Now I love the fact that I’m both a traditionally published author as well as a self-published one (with my Dulcie O’Neil series).

I’m a huge fan of anything paranormal and I always have been. I get super excited whenever they have those Twilight Zone Marathon days and anything ghost or vampire related will always attract my attention.

My interests are varied but aside from writing, I’m most excited about traveling. I’m extremely fortunate to have been able to live in England and Scotland, both places really having a profound effect on my books.

Thanks for checking out my books and I hope you enjoy them! Happy Haunting!
H.P.

    Dulcie O'Neil is Divine

I bought this boxed set because it was such a bargain.. Much to my surprise what I have read so far is totally fantastic. I just finished the 3 Dulcie books and am now reading the 4th, Wuthering Frights. Dulcie is a strong and caring fairy, very unselfish, and true to her friends. I would love a friend like her. The series has some sex in it, which is appropriate to the storyline. It is mostly filled with action and humor. Great combination. Lots of different paranormal characters which should appeal to anyone who likes this genre. I will be starting on the Jolie series as soon as I finish up with Dulcie, and I am sooo looking forward to it. These books are hard to put down, so grab the set and go into another world. It's a great read..

Good start, needs refining and editing

I hate to give these books a bad review because I can tell the author put a lot of herself into it as well as time and effort. She has a good start on the storyline and characters but her writing style needs some refinement. She should expand the main characters observations beyond her immediate perceptions and add in some descriptive exposition. Constant use of the first person gets monotonous and detracts from an otherwise good concept.

Great fantasy/supernatural novels that keeps you reading. Can't put this set down!

I love both of these series, but I am not a fan of how the two series are put together in format. I wish all the books were separated more efficiently. I am looking forward to when both of these series are published so I can buy the books. HP Mallory is a fantastic writer who I would compare writing styles to Charlene Harris.

I decided to buy this book series because I couldn't pass up the 5 books for 2.99 after reading reviews I went through and bought it. What I didn't expect how AMAZING this story was going to be. I started with the Dulcie O'Neil series and am already halfway through Wurthering Frights (Can't wait for Malice in Wonderland, and book #6). Really looking forward to starting the Jolie Wilkins series. I have been recommending this book to my friends and family. What I love about it is Dulcie is a very strong and stubborn fairy who really cares about her friends. She has 3 guys who are very smittened with her, and once you start like one just a little more than the others, one of the others does something that just makes your heart melt and you start hoping she ends up with him. This is one of the series that is very hard to put down I've already gone through 4 books in less than a week. I HIGHLY recommend this series.

I typically read an entire series at once, as such editing issue

I typically read an entire series at once, as such editing issues from one book to another tend to stand out. That being said, fatal flaws that occur within a book are worse. The Dulce series had editing issues within chapters, and from one chapter to the next. I'm afraid to read the Jolie Wilkins series because the editing issues are just too frustrating. If you can get past the annoying editing issues, the books are a quick fun read. This author has real promise. If her books were less entertaining, I would have only given 2 stars. As they are fun, and the real issue is with editing, I am giving 3 stars.

    Good, but could be better.

Dulcie O'Neil books are like Stephanie Plum (Janet Evanovich) meets Men in Black. Would like them better without the more graphic sex scenes though. Haven't read the Jolie Wilkins books yet.

Not an intelleh Not an intellegent read

These books were okay. Easy reads with so so storylines. The characters were reletively one dimensional and juvinile, but what really got on my nerves was the language and vocabulary. The author really needs to buy a good dictiinary and thesaurus she continually misused words and it got really annoying. If you have a decent vocabulary and it bothers you when people misuse fairly simple and commonly used words I wouldn't recommend these novels becuse the'll drive you nuts.
