Case #1: From the Case Files of the Hudson Agency.

Private Eye, Carl Danby tries to stay out of the limelight. Ever since the detective injured his knee on the job, the big boss himself has hinted at Danby’s retirement.

Then the Agency is hired by successful Chicago businessman, Benjamin Porter, who has recently been involved in a series of life-threatening accidents. Convinced he’s being targeted for death, Porter points the finger at someone close to him as the culprit.

Danby is assigned the new case. Saddled with the Agency’s newest recruit, Elmo Clark, the veteran detective delves into the situation. It’s up to Danby to investigate the murder attempts and figure out what’s going on before the next accident proves fatal.

An avid mystery reader, I have been a closet mystery writer for years.

In the meantime, I've held a variety of jobs. Receptionist. Bookkeeper. Day care chef. Travel Agent. Building Manager.

I served as Treasurer (2010 & 2011) for Sisters-in-Crime, Chicagoland Chapter after serving as co-secretary in 2009.

I was a top ten finalist in the 2011 Golden Donut Contest.

The release of my first short story - Who Murdered the Ghost? - is the start of a dream come true.
