Overview

Archie Franklin, distant descendent of Benjamin Franklin and son of the current President of the United States, was on a business trip across the Southwestern plains when an unfortunate accident takes him to a village tucked away in the New Mexico wilderness. Here he finds an isolated culture with a secret so deep and dark, that even its people don't know about it. As soon as Archie has recovered from his wreck, he sets out to help a small group escape from the compound and find others of their kind. Will they be able to survive the challenges of flight in the wilderness and battle the scientists who dog their steps, or will they remain a part of an unholy experiment? This book takes the reader through an imaginary experiment in human and animal DNA that is designed to help strengthen the human race. Its subjects are kept in a very controlled environment where human rights are denied at best, and abused at worse. The story teaches about the human condition, and focuses on man's inhumanity to man, his responsibility to others, and his ability to survive no matter what condition he finds himself in.
