About the Author

Born in a small mining village in Scotland, the author—now a widower—is a proud father of two daughters and grandfather to four grandchildren, who continue to inspire many of his stories. After a lifelong career working for mining companies around the world, he retired with his beloved wife, Linda, to Spain. Following her passing, he relocated to Australia to be closer to his daughters and grandchildren. A lifelong storyteller, he has always enjoyed writing poems and short stories for children. This book marks his fourth publication.
