    Outstanding soundtrack

From the opening credits to the end of the film the haunting, mystical soundtrack by the accomplished composer Phillip Glass keeps the viewer of "The Illusionist" listening intently to the score. Before the movie ended I know I had to buy this CD, which is a rarity for me. Hopefully Phillip Glass will win the Academy Award for best musical score in a movie.

    This soundtracks makes the movie!

The soundtrack for The Illusionist is composed entirely by Philip Glass, who also composes many other scores for movies. The Illusionist movie had a magical, almost mystical theme, which is well met with the soundtrack which ranges from soft and lulling to exciting and whimsical. I found the movie itself very intriguing, though a little slow, but the music truly shaped the movie. I would recommend the soundtrack to any classical or Philip Glass fan!
