A suspenseful horror novel with an intriquing story that leads to a totally unpredictable ending. It is a true page turner, and the reader will be hooked from the Prologue to the last page. "The Imaginings" is a great tale of good vs. evil with believable and likeable characters. Were David and Jeannie drawn together by fate and can they join forces to stop this demon? The author is creative and imaginative. His writing is wonderfully descriptive and gives the reader vivid mind's-eye pictures of the action, environment, and surroundings, whether it be powerful (evil?) storms or peaceful (while at the same time scary) Montana scenery. This book is unique and will not disappoint. I can't wait for Dail's next novel.
