Author Bio: Dennis Billy, C.Ss.R. is a teacher, writer, and poet. Ordained a Redemptorist priest in 1980, he is currently a professor at the Alphonsian Academy at the Pontifical Lateran University in Rome where he teaches moral theology and Christian spirituality. He is the author of numerous books and articles, both popular and scholarly. A native of Staten Island, NY, he graduated from Dartmouth College and went on to receive five master's degrees from universities around the world as well as a doctorate from the Pontifical University of St. Thomas.
