The title is what first caught my attention. Was recently diagnosed with RH Arthritis. Was looking to learn what I could do to help myself in addition to the Dr's prescribed medications and advice. I found this at health food store, briefly browsed through it and was immediately engaged. Once I started reading about how the immune system is compromised and what I could do to make a positive change I couldn't stop reading. It gives much information on dietary supplements and how they specifically affect the immune system. In detail describes how we have poisoned our bodies through our environment and lifestyle. It gives specific nutritional content of the plant kingdom and the benefits of certain powerful foods. It talks about cancer, diabetis, fibromyalgia, aids, arthritis, and other diseases, giving specific foods, supplements and the causes of each illnes. It's a book that since I bought I refer to over and over again. I recommend it to other people but I don't lend it out because it's been a great resource for me and I'm always having to refer to it. While I've been what I thought was a healthy eater I am now almost 95% vegetarian. If you have an Immune Compromised Disease this is the book for you. Very comprehensive for the lay person like me. Since I began taking the Moducare Sterinol I have more energy and while the disease hasn't gone away I feel more hopeful when I know that there's something I can do for myself to affect the progress or lack of progess of Rheumatiod Arthritis.
