I found the book entertaining. It is basically the story of a boy who discovers the Library of Alexandria has resurfaced in Northern California due to supernatural means. The characters are believable and my only main gripe with the book is that it is short but from what I read on the publisher's website, the next book will be more meatier and with more elements of horror. There isn't any swearing in this book and I would say children 10-12 are the minimum age for reading this. Adults will like the book too - some chapters are told from the perspective of the books - it is a clever twist. Looks to be a promising series. Was this review helpful?
