The Infinite Atonement, perhaps the most comprehensive yet understandable treatment of the Atonement in our day, is now available as an unabridged audio book. In this work, Elder Tad R. Callister thoughtfully examines the infinite scope of this "great and last sacrifice." Using the scriptures and the words of modern prophets, he explores the Savior's divinity and depth of His love for mankind. He explains the blessings that flow from the Atonement, providing insight into the Resurrection, repentance, and the gifts of peace, grace, and exaltation, and describes the relationship of justice and mercy. Through discussing the effects of the Fall of Adam, he reminds us powerfully of the incalculable debt of gratitude we owe Christ. "The Atonement of Jesus Christ," Elder Callister writes, "is the most supernal, mindexpanding, passionate doctrine this world or universe will ever know." With clarity, testimony, and understanding, The Infinite Atonement elevates our spirit as it teaches us rich and wonderful truths about this "doctrine of doctrines."

It's not often that a book of this caliber is written. A must read for any serious student of the gospel. In fact, I would recommend this book to any seeker of truth. A true enjoyment to read. The author teaches the doctrine of atonement with clarity and power. Few books have touched my soul as this one has.
This book written from the LDS perspective gives a glimpse into the significance and mercy of the atonement of Jesus Christ. I think it will also help non-LDS understand the importance and signficance of Jesus Christ in the LDS faith. Tad Callister in simple language using the resources of the LDS scriptures and quotes from the prophets and apostles of the restoration explains various facets of the atonement in the lives of God's children. From the Pre-existence to the Creation,Fall, mortal existence and ultimately to our dwelling in the presence of God, Bro. Callister explains how the atonement of Jesus Christ is central to each of these phases of our existence and the plan of God. Moreover, as he explains each of these facets, there are little nuggets that can help anyone increase in faith in Jesus Christ. This book is for anyone who would like to understand better their relationship to the Saviour.
Tad Callister does an wonderful job at bringing key atonement concepts together and does a great job walking the reader through the analysis. His writing style is casual and enjoyable to read. If you are just starting your study of the Atonement/Gospel or are a lifetime student I recommend reading this book because it is well organized, insightful and will help you to read the scriptures a little closer to glean the many truths and doctrines that so many of us gloss over. This book does not replace your need to read the scriptures but serves as a great study aid.
Absolutly love and recommend!
