    Wicked Cool Album!

I only really became familiar with Living Sacrifice a matter of about 5 or 6 months ago or so, which is really sad considering I've been into Christian metal now for many years, and that Living Sacrifice was one of the innovators in Christian metal music...paving the way for many excellent Christian metal artists to come. For whatever reason, though I'd heard of them in the past, I only ever just became recently familiar with them this past year. However, after having listened to some of their music, I was instantly hooked...having first heard their In Memoriam album, followed by Conceived In Fire and then this one...their new album...which is freakin amazing. I enjoyed every minute of this album! I still have some more of their older music to check out, but from what I've heard so far...I simply love this group. If you are into metal music, then friends...you need to check these guys out! I highly recommend this album...and their couple before. I am sure their earlier stuff is good too...I just haven't heard it yet, but I intend to. Go buy this album. It shreds!

The best new album from one of the best metal bands of all time.

This is argueably going to be considered living sacrifices(or as some call them living sacks of rice, when you say there name to fast) best album ever. It as all their best elements of reject, hammering process and conceaved in fire combined. At some times sound up to par with even metallica in the terms of solos. They even have some choruses this time in songs like Rules of engagement. But the lyrics in that song are rediculous. Saying that you have to go to war and get yourself killed in battle because like the band you're a chistian. Sorry nobodys going to brainwash me into elisting. The first track over exposure is fast and heavy in guitar and drumming that pummels you. The songs title makes me think maybe the band feels there getting more attention then they deserve espesialy in the christian scene(HM magazine and so on). Though the song is really about not wanting to sell out to lies or wickedness. The third track continues the chaos and heavyness. This album was not a letdown at all compared to say the last Zao album. Which is interesting because you hear alot of stuff that sounds like my faviorate album of theirs Liberate, on some tracks. Where the guitars just slowly creep up on you to scare you. Then the dueling guitars on some tracks. Theres some drums sounds that sound like the last track of liberate. But overall Living Sacsafrice have there own sound thats not quite hardcore, metalcore, thrash and deathmetal. But a combination of all of those.I've listened to this album at least three times in all so far.And the album doesn't get old like some albums do. They probably won't crossover to mainstream success or be on the radio. But this again is an outstanding album that is everything I wanted in a new liv'in sac'rifice album.Plus the fist printing of this album had a bonus track #12 which wasn't supposed to be on the album. That is if you get that version.
