The Influences Behind the Rolling Stones

Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide - Steve Leggett
The roots of the Rolling Stones have hardly been secrets. Drawing on a love of Chess Records, Chicago blues, Motown, bayou swamp blues, R&B, and early rock & roll, the Stones initially mimicked, and then later refined, re-formed, and reinvented their influences until they were arguably the greatest touring rock & roll band on the planet.
