Good book with a lot of emotions

This was a pretty decent book-It is about a Christian lady counselor who has issues herself, but doesn't know it until counseling a client. Mystery, and intrique throughout. Romance too! I liked it. There is the first of a series? I would recommend it to everyone. And, not filthy like some trashy novels today, clean old fashioned style to it.

    fast and entertaining read

I liked the simplicity and the directness of the characters, it held my interest throughout. It was well written with thought provoking moments, and I was totally not expecting several things. It is going to be a series, so I wanted to start with book one. really liked it.

    Interesting Christian book

I really enjoyed this book. The author expressed a great deal of this lovely story through the eyes of a Christian counselor. It was creative, fast read-and suspenseful. Romance was involved with an overall mysterious element. No foul language, and the MC's all were Christian - overall a worthy read. I enjoyed it.

    Mystery, Friendship, Romance, Godly Characters

CD Swanson does a nice job of developing characters and plot - the stories within the story. Compassion, mystery and romance align to provide interesting twists and display the power of love within the context of God's sovereignty and plan. The author's heart and love for God are apparent through the characters she has developed. This book would appeal to those who enjoy romantic fiction intertwined with mystery built on a Christian foundation.

    Interesting

This was an interesting quick read. The author established the characters very well, took time to develop their personalities. The mystery was light, yet held my interest. It wasn't very long, but the others are saying it will be a triology-so the author was probably setting up the MC's. Still, I enjoyed it, I will buy the whole series.

    interesting

this was a fast read and interesting. the only complaint, very short story. it should be called a novella. but i think it is going to be a series so that might explain it. other than that, i liked it.

I liked it, but I wish it were longer

I bought this after buying her other books, and I loved them all. Especially THE CHATEAU. This book was really good, emotional, sensitive, and exciting with a lot of heart thumping moments. And, it is going to be a series. However the only complaint I have is that it is a little too short. She is an excellent story teller, and I really love her style. Maybe she was doing this book as an introductory thing to the series. But, I still loved it!

Good read with feisty loving characters~

This is a good book that holds the promise of "sequels" and the author hints at that in the end. The psychologist in this book works with the "chief of police" in cases...That is all I will say without spoiling it for those who haven't read it. But, this is going to be a series and if you like suspense, mystery and psychology, along with love and romance - you will love this book!

Really Good Psychological suspense read - first of a series!

I love this book-it had the perfect amount of pages, and it was so interesting. I was aching to find out the ending, it was so interesting and pulled at my heart strings too! Romance, drama, and psychological intense suspense. It had me guessing right up to the end of the story. I loved it. The Author said this will be the first of many installments of Samantha Evans. I loved her THE CHATEAU too!

This is a good book - author speaks of "series" YES!!!!!!

i bought this author's books - and was impressed with all of the books. Great job...It is so good. It was a good fast read. I really enjoyed it. the author speaks of a "sequel/series" and I could see this happening. Great book! Romnance, mystery and I had to use my noggin to figure out what was going on! Good twists. I also bought The Chateau - IT WAS Fantastic! Great plot, fast moving, romance adventure, and all kinds of twists and turns. This author is a smooth writer that captures her readers from the first paragraph to the very last, and then you WANT MORE! I highly recommend it. And finally Dear God with Love - beautifully written poems all for God. I loved it and felt the author's heart for God. It was really beautiful!
