    Great book!

The program outlined in The Insomnia Workbook is really great! After just a few short weeks, I went from sleeping 4 to 5 hours per night (trouble falling asleep and waking up 3 or 4 times per night), to a solid 7 to 8 hours every night. No more waking up during the night, and I now actually fall asleep within about 10 minutes of going to bed. I've also stopped taking sleeping pills, which has helped me to feel better and less groggy during the day and to actually fall asleep in a natural way. I must admit that I was a bit skeptical that it would work, but I am so glad that I tried the program. It's important to really follow through and take the time to read this book. Since it's a workbook, the format is very useful. I highly recommend this book to anyone with trouble sleeping.

    A joy to read!

As a Board Certified Sleep Physician, I wholeheartedly endorse "The Insomnia Workbook" as a practical hands-on resource. Insomnia is a commonly encountered medical condition that is frequently misdiagnosed, and often under- or over-treated. This workbook provides the necessary tools for the analysis and identification of the different causes and triggers for insomnia. It also instructs the reader on how to manage this condition and adopt behaviors conducive to a much improved sleep, all within a reasonable timeframe befitting to our busy lifestyles. Furthermore, throughout the various chapters of the book, the author frequently includes charts, questionnaires and tables for the reader to follow and self-assess for progress. It is a very objective, accurate and well written book, devoid of medical jargon and convoluted terminology. Overall, "The Insomnia Workbook" is a joy to read and should be recommended to the insomniac, healthcare professional interested in enhancing their understanding on this topic, or any inquiring reader looking to improve his/her sleep habits.
