    Introduction to Iron Man!

This book is perfect for someone who is unfamiliar with the origin & early adventures of Iron Man. These stories are taken from Tales of Suspense, where Iron Man was first introduced in 1963. Iron Man appeared in this book until his popularity rose & was given his own series in 1968. This collection does not feature any stories from The Invincible Iron Man, but there is a LARGE variety of early material here, and even though the story lines are a bit absurd & simple minded compared to today's comics, but they are classics in every way! This will take quite a while to read due to the amount of material. The art is beautiful and never looked better, in full color on glossy print in a solid hardcover edition. It's a bit pricey, but it's a great value compared to the Marvel Masterworks series. You pay for what you get! The Marvel Omnibuses are the best collections of old comics you can find. I was given this for christmas and I'm still enjoying it!
