All Music Guide
American slowcore trio Low release their tenth album in 20 years. They recorded The Invisible Way at Wilco's Chicago studio The Loft and Wilco singer Jeff Tweedy produced the album. It was during the initial visit there that Low heard the work Tweedy was doing on Mavis Staples' record, and they planned The Invisible Way there and then. Vocal duties are shared on this release, with Mimi Parker singing on five of the eleven tracks -- more than she has on any of their previous albums.
