From the Publisher

Praise for Infinity Ring #1: A Mutiny in Time:

"Tight plotting, snappy dialogue... the story moves at a breathless pace." -- Rick Riordan for The New York Times Book Review

"'History is broken, and we need your help to fix it.' What kid could turn down an invitation like that?... It's a quick, straightforward adventure with a successful mix of action, adventure, and historical substance." -- Publishers Weekly

"Save a place on your shelves for this fast-paced and fun series about historical time travel." -- Voice of Youth Advocates

Children's Literature - Natalie Gurr
The seventh entry in the “Infinity Ring” series, takes Dak, Sera, and Riq back in time to where it all began: the Prime Break. Their mission is to save Alexander the Great from being murdered. It was this event that broke time and sent the world hurtling to disaster. The young adventurers make their way to see Aristotle, hoping that they can convince him of their mission. Mishaps and old enemies conspire to thwart the youths, but bravery and determination keep them on the path. Following the success of the “39 Clues” series, Scholastic has one again pulled together the talents of multiple authors to create a vibrant and enticing series. Readers will appreciate the fast pace and freshness that Dashner brings to the tale. Dak, Sera, and Riq are quirky, relatable characters that are easy to cheer for. History is brought to life in such a unique way, that readers will not realize how much they have learned until the end. These are great books for young historians and children looking for an adventure. Reviewer: Natalie Gurr; Ages 8 to 14.

Gr 3–7—Dak, Sera, and Riq travel back to ancient Greece to finally fix the Prime Break: they must stop the assassination of a young Alexander the Great. They meet Aristotle, and with the philosopher's help, the time travelers think this may be the easiest of the Great Breaks to fix. But their mission is complicated by the appearance of Tilda, the ruthless leader of the mysterious and powerful organization SQ. She is determined to see Alexander dead. Dion Graham returns to narrate this seventh book in the series (after Behind Enemy Lines). Graham's rich, dramatic voice is ideal for the action-packed sci-fi adventure. His pacing is excellent, particularly during action scenes, and he distinguishes between characters in both the dialogue and the narrative point of view. First-time "Infinity Ring" listeners will want to start with the first book to have a clear understanding of the story, and fans of the series will enjoy the excitement throughout as the fate of the world is decided.—Amanda Raklovits, Champaign Public Library, IL
