Adorable story about two children traveling to a new island where they make new friends. Amazing illustrations!

I like rhyming but love when the rhyming is a consistent letter or sound or however you say it. There's something infinitely more fun about it for me to read out loud.

Illustrations reminded me of my favorites growing up.

My 4 year old really loves this story. Agreed that the illustrations are not mind blowing but the fun is the adventure of the story and the rhyming and cadence of the words. Have reread this one several nights already.

With all the glowing reviews, I had high expectations for this book. Granted it was only $.99, but I was unfortunately disappointed. The illustrations are small and the formatting of the book is so bad it seriously detracts from the story. It looks amateur. You can't pinch and zoom to see the illustrations better. I do think it flows & is a quick read. The writing is catchy, but none of my kids wanted to read it again anytime soon. There's really not too much of a storyline.

What a great story! A wonderfully written children's book filled with beautifully colored illustrations. I read it to my son Nathan at night and it really takes me back to the joy of childhood....strongly recommended!

Silly, fun reading. The perfect story to read aloud during a class transition, short and lots of great rhyming. A must have for your classroom library to share with little friends! Woohoo!

I thought it was nice little book with a rythme, but the children don't seem to care for it. Probably just depends on an individuals personal taste, as all books do.

So, it doesnt have the best or brightest pictures. The story itself is cute. My son is 4 and likes it. Thats all that matters. If he could give it 5 stars he would. Mommy is giving it 4.

My boys (age 3 and 6) really liked the book, but I was expecting something more. The rhyming text is nice, and there is plenty of fun language ("They served us desserts made with bum berry goo as we danced to the tune of the didgeridoo."), but I wasn't that impressed with the illustrations and the plot isn't that memorable. I think if the illustrations were better I would have liked the book a bit more.

I like this story about a trip to the island of Bum Bum Ba Loo. It is a rhyming story. It is simple and entertaining for a story to read to your kids or have it read to you.

Hmm, glad it was only a dallor. Pictures were nice. The story seemed to go nowhere. Good concept, fell flat on it's face.
