    GREAT ADVENTURE!

This book is filled with amazing twists and turns you never know where you're going to end up! Duncan, the main character, is a great role model for all young boys. His character is one of strenght, honesty and loyalty. The Island of Rouge is not only a wonderful read for boys but for girls as well.

    more from this reviewer

    Love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am Karenann's nephew and I love it. This book should be in every store. If you aren't the fantasy type of person, read this book. It IS fantasy, with some real elements to it. I know Duncan is based on my cousin, and Queen Toria is Victoria. For you critics out there, so what? It doesn't matter what you say because 9/10 people disagree with you, I can almost guarantee it. If you want to follow your dreams, go for it!! Critics critique, that's what they get paid for! If you don't like it, that's one person. One more person WILL like it. I thought it was great. (Even though I am her family)I will be honest, it wasn't the BEST book I ever read, but it was in my Top 20. Critics, critique. Get paid. Live a good life. The critiqued, take it as 'constructive criticism.'
I will try to get this book in to my public and school library. That's how worthy this book is. Read it. Tell your friends! It'll all come back to you in the end.

    Fun! Captivating! Enlightening!

I bought this book as it was recommended by a friend and it exceeded my expectations. My daughter was enthralled within the first three pages and as an adult I more than enjoyed it myself. As a parent I appreciated the main characters morality while keeping the spirit of today's youth. Truely looking forward to new and upcoming books by this new author.
