Meet the Author

J&P Voelkel
Jon Voelkel grew up in Peru, Costa Rica and Colombia. He was not a natural-born adventurer and found life in the jungle difficult, to say the least. Having survived monkey stew, an attack by giant rats, and a plane crash in the middle of the rainforest, he escaped to college in Minneapolis and went on to business school in Barcelona. After working in advertising agencies in Spain, Holland and England, he started his own agency in London with four other partners - one of whom would be his future wife. In 2001, the London Financial Times named him one of the top fifty creative minds in Britain.

Ix Sak Lol( lady of the white flower or lola.) And Max murphy gamer extrodonare.

Lola is determined and brave.. the perfect mayan warrior. Max is the red headed, crazy and stuborn kid from boston. Togeather they fight forces only known to the ancient maya. Lola must lead max through the endless fights with the death lords and the god of violent and unnatual deaths. With the help from very unexpected allies they escape to fight another day. But at what cost? Lola lost the only family she had Chan Kan. The info max overheard at the the hotel turned out to be more important than Max had thought when Zia revieled a secret that max would remember forever. Lola was her daughter and even she hadn't known. But her father gave max new family. His uncle was the father of lily. (Thats lolas real name!) For the first time ever lola felt like there were no more secrets she was happy beyond compare. But with the white jaguar going to the death lords Lola and Max are in for more advetures... If Max survives through his own memorial sevice and funeral! Orginized by the death lords no doubt. Max and Lola must face the death lords again. One way or another. - Crazy for mayan mythology.
