Editorial Reviews

The Feathered Quill
Cheated By Death: This psychological thriller with a paranormal thread will keep the old wheels spinning trying to figure out the culprit. This tough, but somehow vulnerable psychic detective had just the right amount of edge to his personality to making him extremely appealing. The reader won’t find the time to discover a “psychic signature” in the pages of this book because it just sizzles hot, asking to be read in a single sitting!

    Great series.
I enjoyed Cheated by Death as much as I did the first two novels. I love the characters of Jeff and his family, Maggie, and Sophie, and the mystery is well written.

    Great series

I really enjoyed the whole series. Each book grabs you right from the start and keeps you to the end. Buy the sets and save money.

    Generally good

These two books are written and plotted as well as the first three in the series, but Book Five in the Nook version is marred by a great many typos and editing goofs. The relationship among Jeff, his brother Richard and Richard's wife Brenda progresses very slowly-- a little too slowly for me. I think I'm over this series.
