This is a great kit for anyone interested in doing something a little different with origami. It is a bit advanced, I would not recommend it for younger kids unless they have a lot of patience and fine motor skills! I originally got it for my 11 year old son to make Christmas gifts for family, but I ended up being the one who had the most fun with it!

I love origami, and when I see a new form love to try it out. It seems like this could come in handy for making some special gifts. I like the idea of using simple materials that could be changed out for variety. Actually, I'm thinking of using eco-friendly acid free paper, then, when I'm through, I could bury them in my compost pile and let them be part of bringing up adornments from nature in my garden.
