About the Author

John Corley was born in South Florida and entered the United States Marine Corps in 1979. After the Marines, John joined the City of Miami Beach Police Department in South Florida. John completed 25 years with the police department. John had the opportunity to work assignments in patrol, crime suppression, auto-crimes, narcotics, and S.W.A.T. John is a third-generation police officer.
