I grew up with a mom that juiced and made smoothies, but never did it much myself until last year. Once you start juicing more, you may find that you lack creativity in your own recipes because you'll juice what sounds good to you and kind of get in a rut. This book got me excited about trying new combinations. I also think, that after browsing through many juice books in BN store, I think this is one of the better juicing books around. Not only do you get a lesson on juicing and lots of recipes, but also an entire chapter dedicated to juicing for remedies and rejuvenation. In this chapter you will find recipes for pretty much anything in alphabetical order - antiaging, asthma, bright eyes, brain helper, calcium, cancer fighting, cholesterol buster, cravings, digestion, electrolyte replacer (used this before playing tennis because I didn't have time for a small meal and I had tons of energy - got me through 2.5 hours of pretty competitive doubles!), kidney, liver, memory, moods, parasite kicker, prostate, etc.

I am new to juicing and have heard of so many of the benefits that I really wanted to give it a try. It is impossible for my family to eat all of the required fruits and vegetables. This book is awesome and helps us meet our nutritional goals. Not only does it tell you recipes, it tells you the effects of the juice and how it can help you. The best part is that it's taken from author's actual experience with the juicing fruits and veggies. Not all recipes are tasty, but plenty of them are, yet they all have super health benefits.
