Meet the Author

In the dark spaces of j.a.kazimer's bookcase, hidden behind literary classic and the occasional book of poetry (unread, of course), is a well-loved collection of crime fiction, mystery, urban fantasies, suspense, thrillers, romance and humorous novels.

When j.a. isn't reading, she spend her time writing with a dark comic twist.

Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, she escaped at a young age, and now lives in Denver, Colorado, where she received a master's degree in forensic psychology, and has worked as a PI, bartender, and most recently at the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics.

    Love This Collection

In the vein of William Burroughs, Junky, these tales are dark, gritty and very real. Just when I thought I couldn't stand to read another addiction story, The Junky Tales offered redemption to a genre. If you love Luke Davies' Candy, or Jerry Stahl's Permanent Midnight, this collection is for you.
