Being a fantasy/suspense story lover, and a Dekker fan, I really enjoyed this short story and look forward to reading the book it introduces.
I think it will be an intriguing series to read with others and is very likely to have deep spiritual value.

Helps explain how the Keeper start and how they find out they are dead. It is in the fantastic Dekker style!

This book was great. It was a quick read, but really gave a background to the new series that you might not get without reading this. Highly recommended.

The book's premise interested me enough to give it a read. I found the characters ridiculous, the plot made overly complicated and plot devices introduced and then abandoned without seeing where they went. The plot and characters had a lot of judeo-christian themes and messages that were pretty obvious. All in all I say this book would be a good read for deeply religious people looking for meaning or for younger readers.

It was free, can't complain. Concept is interesting enough that you definitely consider putting the series on your wishlist. It is a short, short story so not much room to expand on the plot enough to make you have to immediately read Forbidden but definitely keep a note to self about it for later.

Wasn't quite captivating enough to make me rush out & read the rest of series. I probably will, but not out of necessity.
