    Awesome research

    This is written by a doctor and a nutritionist. The book is divided into two sections. In the first section they explain how allergies occur and the differences between the different types of allergies and food sensitivities. They also explain about other alternative diets being recommended. Awesome reference book for listing all the alternate names of the common food allergies i.e. whey would represent a milk product, etc. Also lists names that sound like they should be a common allergen but actually aren't. The second section is the cookbook. Almost every recipe is gluten, milk, soy, egg, corn and nut free. There are icons at the top of the page and you just look at those to determine if the recipe has the allergen in it. Easy to use and to understand. Very well written at the lay person's ability to understand.

    Kid-Friendly ADHD & Autism Cookbook

    I was new to the idea of a Gluten Free/Casein Free diet and intimidated by all of the foods it cuts out. I found this cookbook to be very helpful in providing recipes for a Gluten Free/Casein Free diet. The recipes are not very difficult to make. The first hundred pages of the book talks about the diet itself and is hard to get through. There are better more encouraging books out there to provide that information but once you get to the recipes it improves.

    Many great recipes!

    You don't have to have a child with ADHD to love this cookbook if you are gluten and dairy free! The author has also marked the recipes for nut, egg, and soy so you know what each has and whether it has options for more allergy-friendly options. I have tried at least 10-12 recipes and have been pleased with almost all of them. I also use it as a resource for information. If you have allergies, this is a great book to own. I checked it out 3 times from the library before I finally decided that I would need to buy it.

    Very Disappointed that e-book didn't work

    I purchased this as an e-book for my IPad, but it did not work and I therefore had to return for a refund.
